 Easy Pasta recipe at home 

1. Ingredients 

i:- 2 Cups pasta (penne, spaghetti, or your favorite shape) 
ii:- 4 Cups water 
iii:- 1 Teaspoon salt 
iv:- 2 Teaspoon olive oil or butter 
v:- 2 Cloves garlic, minced (optional) 
vi:- 1 Cup tomato sauce or pesto  
vii:- Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping) 
viii:- Fresh basil or parsley (optional) 
ix:- Red chili flakes (for a spicy kick) 


2. Steps for cooking 
i- Boil the Pasta
ii- Bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot. 
iii- Add salt and pasta, stirring occasionally. 
iv- Cook for 8 to 12 minutes. 
v- Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water for the sauce. 

3. Prepare the Sauce 
i- Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. 
ii- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (skip if using ready-made sauce). 
iii- Pour in tomato sauce or pesto, stirring well. 
 
4. Combine Pasta & Sauce 
i- Add the drained pasta to the sauce. 
ii- Toss well, adding reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess. 
 
5. Season and Serve 
i- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste. 
ii- Top with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.

Save pasta water:- Helps thicken the sauce naturally.
